Welcome to Snaps ("we," "our," or "us"). We are committed to protecting your personal privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how your information is collected, used, encrypted, and protected when you use our mobile application Snaps (com.owlabs.snaps).

We collect only the minimum data required to deliver core app features:

• Account Information: When you sign in using Google Sign-In, we collect your name, email address, and profile photo URL to create your account and display your profile to your connected friends.
• User Content (Moments & Photos): Photos captured within the app are uploaded to encrypted cloud storage to display them in your private feed and on your friends' widgets.
• Device & Push Tokens (FCM Tokens): We collect your Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) token to deliver real-time push notifications when a friend shares a moment or reacts to your photos.

We use your collected data strictly for app functionality:

• To stream live photo moments between you and your approved friends.
• To update your home screen widget in real time when new photos arrive.
• To send high-priority push notifications for moments, comments, and emoji reactions.
• To maintain account security and prevent unauthorized access.

• Encryption in Transit: 100% of network communication between the app and our servers is encrypted using TLS 1.3 / HTTPS protocol.
• Encryption at Rest: All database records and uploaded photos are stored securely using AES-256 encryption on Google Cloud Platform / Firebase infrastructure.
• Access Control: Storage and database security rules enforce strict authentication checks. Only authorized recipients can view shared photos.

• Zero Third-Party Data Sales: We never sell, rent, or trade your personal data, photos, or email address to third-party ad networks, data brokers, or marketing companies.
• No Third-Party Tracking SDKs: Snaps does not integrate third-party advertising SDKs or tracking pixels (e.g., Meta Pixel, AdMob).

• Moment Deletion: You can delete any of your uploaded photos at any time directly inside the app. Deleting a moment permanently removes the image from our servers and database.
• Account Deletion Request: You have the right to request the full deletion of your account and associated data. To request data deletion, visit our Snaps Account Deletion Page or contact us at support@owlabs.com.

Snaps is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

We may update our Privacy Policy periodically. Any updates will be published on this page with a revised effective date.
