In-App Reporting Mechanisms
Accessible tools for users to flag child safety concerns and inappropriate behavior

Cairn: Leave Your Mark provides comprehensive, accessible in-app mechanisms that allow users to immediately flag and report any content, trial, or user that raises child safety concerns:

Report a Trial / Content

Every user-created Trial features a visible "Report" button. Users can select "Child Safety / Inappropriate Content" to immediately escalate the item for emergency moderation triage.

Report & Block Users

Users can report any profile directly from the profile or trial view. In addition, users can block any account with a single tap, immediately hiding all content from that user and preventing further interaction.

How to report child safety concerns in-app:

  1. Tap the Options (...) / Flag icon on the Trial or user profile.
  2. Select Report Content / User.
  3. Choose "Child Safety / Exploitation Concern" as the reason.
  4. Submit the report. The content will be hidden from your feed immediately and routed for urgent human review.
Compliance with Laws & Reporting to Regional/National Authorities
Fulfilling legal obligations and cooperating with child protection agencies

Quark Studio complies with all applicable national and international child protection laws, including federal requirements under 18 U.S.C. § 2258A and relevant regional frameworks.

Whenever we identify or receive a report of CSAM, child sexual exploitation, or grooming attempts:

  • Mandatory NCMEC Reporting: We promptly submit a detailed CyberTipline report to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) containing relevant identifiers, timestamps, and evidence in accordance with statutory obligations.
  • Law Enforcement Cooperation: We assist and cooperate fully with law enforcement agencies and judicial authorities to aid in investigations and the protection of minors.
  • Evidence Preservation: Pertinent digital records and logs are preserved securely for investigative and legal proceedings before being permanently removed from public view.
Proactive Prevention & Content Moderation

To maintain a safe environment for all users, Cairn: Leave Your Mark employs multilayered preventative safeguards:

Pre-Publication Filtering: Automated keyword and phrase filters block prohibited terms, hate speech, explicit language, and grooming signals during trial creation.
Terms of Use Agreement: Every user must agree to our Community Guidelines and Terms of Service prohibiting harmful or inappropriate content before publishing any public user-generated content.
Continuous Monitoring & Rapid Removal: Flagged content is evaluated with top priority, and verified violations are taken down immediately.
