The App: * Does NOT collect personal data * Does NOT track your usage or behavior * Does NOT use analytics or tracking services * Does NOT access your files, messages, or browsing history * Does NOT require an account or registration * Does NOT connect to the internet (no INTERNET permission in release build)

All app settings and preferences are stored locally on your device using Android's SharedPreferences. This includes:

• Gesture-to-action mappings
• App-specific gesture overrides
• User preferences (haptic feedback, visual feedback settings)

This data: * Never leaves your device * Is not accessible to us or any third party * Is deleted when you uninstall the app

The app uses the following permissions based on features:

• Accessibility Service: Detect touch gestures on notch/edge areas (required for core functionality)
• Vibrate: Haptic feedback when gestures are performed (optional)
• Camera: Open Camera action (optional)
• Flashlight: Flashlight toggle action (optional)
• Write Settings: Brightness control - requires user grant (optional)
• Notification Policy Access: Do Not Disturb toggle (optional)
• Call Phone: Opens phone dialer - does not make direct calls (optional)
• Read Phone State: Disable gestures during phone calls (optional)
• Read Contacts: Call Contact quick dial feature (optional)
• Query All Packages: Display list of installed apps for app picker (optional)
• Install Shortcut: Create home screen shortcuts (optional)

Smart Action Notch uses Android's Accessibility Service solely to:

• Detect touch gestures in designated screen areas (notch/edges)
• Perform system actions (back, home, screenshot, etc.)

The Accessibility Service: * Does NOT read screen content * Does NOT monitor what you type * Does NOT collect or transmit any data * Only operates in the designated touch zones

We do NOT use any third-party services, including:

• No analytics (Google Analytics, Firebase Analytics, etc.)
• No advertising SDKs
• No crash reporting services
• No social media SDKs

The App does not knowingly collect information from children under 13. The App contains no age-restricted content.

We may update this privacy policy. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
