Restrict is designed with absolute privacy in mind. We believe your data belongs to you. Restrict operates entirely on your local device. We do not collect, transmit, store, or sell any of your personal data, app usage statistics, or browsing history to external servers. All screen time calculations, app limits, and focus rules are processed securely and locally on your phone.

Restrict requires the Android Accessibility Service permission to function properly as a strict app blocker.

• **Why we need it:** We use this service to detect when a distracting application is launched so we can enforce the daily time caps and focus sessions you have chosen. It allows us to seamlessly overlay the "Intentional Use" prompt and redirect you away from blocked apps.
• **What we do NOT do:** We do not use the Accessibility Service to read your screen content, monitor your keystrokes, intercept your messages, or collect any personal information whatsoever. The permission is strictly used to read package names and window state changes for the sole purpose of blocking distracting apps.

To provide a "True Strict" environment, Restrict utilizes Accessibility rules to prevent the app from being uninstalled or force-closed while a focus session or lock is active. This functionality is entirely local and is implemented solely to help you maintain your discipline.

If you choose to upgrade to our premium features, payments are processed securely through Google Play Billing. We do not have access to your credit card information, nor do we link your payment history to your local app usage data.

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by updating the "Effective Date" of this policy. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes.
